<p>A brake lever assembly (10) for actuating a hydraulic system is shown and described. The brake lever assembly (10) comprises a housing (14), a master cylinder (31) disposed in the housing (14), and a master piston (33) disposed in the master cylinder (31). The master piston (33) has an adjustable dead band. A lever (41) is connected to the housing (14) and has an adjustable reach. The lever (41) is pivotable about a first axis (104) to adjust the reach and is pivotable about a second axis (102) to actuate the master piston (33).
