A positioning system of a mobile communication terminal interworking with different type wireless networks, and a positioning method of a mobile communication terminal using interworking of different type wireless networks are provided to distinguish terminals connected with a mobile communication network as phone numbers of mobile phones, and to offer improved positioning service having wide coverage and high accuracy. A mobile network LBS(Location Based Service) system offers LBS services, and performs a positioning of a terminal by using an MIN(Mobile ID Number) in a mobile communication network. A positioning LBS server manages location information of terminals connected with the different type networks, calculates the location of the terminals, performs mutually mapping of MINs of mobile networks with separators of the different type networks of the terminals, and provides interworking for exchanging information which is needed to the LBS between the different type networks and LBS system. A different networks positioning G/W(Gate Way) server permits the interworking among a plurality of positioning servers. The G/W server collects the location information of the terminals and transmits the collected information to the positioning LBS server. A different type networks AP(Access Point) is connected with terminals which connect to the one different type network.
