A soft member installation device for installing a soft member (7) having a groove (7a) being long and presenting a substantially concave shape in section in a concave groove (9) of a member (8) to be installed being long and presenting a substantially concave shape in section, comprises: a supporting member (10,13) made of an elastic member of a thin plate shape in section, a roller (12,14) rotatably installed in a shaft member provided perpendicularly to a tip surface of the supporting member (10,13) and capable of being freely inserted into a groove (7a) of the soft member (7), and a control means for controlling a posture of the supporting member (10,13) freely to enable the soft member (7) to be installed in the concave groove (9) of the member (8) to be installed with operations of the roller (12,14). |
