A hydraulic line for vehicles, especially a coupling line, based on thermoplastic polymers and containing at least one layer of polyamide-based molding material (I), in which (I) is a mixture of (A) 45-90 wt.% polyamide 610, (B) 0-30 wt.% amorphous and/or microcrystalline (co)polyamide, (C) 2-20 wt.% impact modifier in the form of a copolymer based on ethylene and/or propylene and (D) 1-10 wt.% additives. An independent claim is included for a method for the production of a hydraulic line by compounding and extruding a mixture of the components at a cylinder temperature of more than 200 (preferably 220-280) [deg] C.
