A foot massaging apparatus which comprises a chamber adapted to receive a user's foot and a flexible membrane 58 disposed within the chamber. A drive member 62 provides vibrating, percussive, repetitive or oscillating movement to the flexible membrane to provide a therapeutic effect. The motor 62 has a central drive shaft 64 with offset eccentric cams 66 mounted on each end of the drive shaft. Pistons 72 are secured to the flexible membrane 58 and fixed to the cams 66 through transmission members. A resilient or foam member 60 may be disposed beneath the flexible membrane 58. The massaging device may also have audio speakers, MP3 player capability, and voice data input capability. |
