PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve maintaining and replacing of power and output units by one worker even in the case of an electronic lighting device for a high power discharge lamp and remarkably reducing of an amount of a stock. SOLUTION: In the electronic lighting device for the discharge lamp, a power regulating circuit includes the power unit having a mass which can be carried by the one worker, and the output unit includes similarly a circuit containing at least a polarity changing circuit. These units are disposed at predetermined intervals substantially in parallel with each other. Both the input and output sides of these units are connected as prescribed by a power connector.
