In a dishwasher according to the present invention the water falling on the bottom (1) of the wash tank is intercepted by a member (2), having an inverted frustoconical shape and provided with a central hole (4), secured to the lower sprinkler (3) so as to be supported between the latter and the bottom (1), whereby the water falling on the bottom (1) is intercepted by the member (2) and since the point of contact between the water and the member (2) is inside the tank there is no propagation of acoustic waves to the outside. In this way, there is obtained a noise reduction without increasing the power consumption as it occurs in conventional dishwashers in which the soundproofing is obtained by means of bituminous materials applied to the external walls of the tank which heat up by absorbing heat stolen from the water. |
