TRANSFER BELT CLEANING APPARATUS, TRAVSFER UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME

A transfer belt cleaning apparatus, a transfer unit and an image forming apparatus having the same are provided to prevent damage of a cleaning blade by contacting/separating the cleaning blade with/from a transfer belt in 2 steps and reducing shock by a pressure unit. A transfer belt cleaning apparatus(30) comprises a blade arm(40), a cleaning blade(50), and a pressure unit(70). The blade arm is installed near a transfer belt and is moved to first and second positions. The cleaning blade, installed at the blade arm, is firstly in contact with the transfer belt when the blade arm is moved to the first position. The pressure unit eases shock when the transfer belt is in contact with the cleaning blade and pressurizes the cleaning blade second. The blade arm is rotated on a first hinge point(H1), and the blade arm includes a driving cam(60) moving the blade arm to the first and second positions. The cleaning blade is rotated on a second hinge point(H2). The pressure unit includes a blade bracket(71) and a spring(72).
