An apparatus for transferring a camera module is provided to make a second support portion reciprocate as a cam follower is guided along the first guiding side of a cam guide to hold and release the supporting of the camera module by gripper modules, thereby stably transferring the camera module without concerns about the damage of a cable even when the index table is rotated unlimitedly in one direction. A ring-shaped cam guide(3) has a first guiding side having a first radius of curvature along an inner circumference. An index table is positioned in the inside of the cam guide, has at least two index arms(11), and is rotated. At least two gripper modules have a first support portion(22a), a second support portion(27a), and a cam follower(25). The first support portion supports a side of a camera module(10). The second support portion supports the other side of the camera module, and is operated to be closely attached to or spaced from the direction of the first support portion to control camera module supporting. The cam follower is installed at an end portion toward the first guiding side, and is guided along the first guiding side or is separated from the first guiding side to operate the second support portion. At least two gripper modules are installed at the end portion of each index arm. A push guide has a pushing portion(42). The pushing portion is positioned in the outside of the cam guide, and is provided to push the cam follower separated from the first guiding side onto the same circumference surface as the first guiding surface.
