<p>An electronic water meter and a control method thereof are provided to analyze interrupt signals from four steps to recognize rotation direction at any position precisely by installing two auxiliary magnets which is apart from a sensor driving magnet with having different polarities from each other and separating lead switches from each other. An electronic water meter comprises a sensor driving magnet(10), two lead switches(S1,S2), and two auxiliary magnets(N1,N2). The sensor driving magnet interlocks with an impeller. The lead switch detects the rotation of the impeller and functions as sensor. The auxiliary magnets are spaced from the sensor driving magnet and face each other. The lead switches, which are separated from each other, have phase difference generated by interrupt signals output through four steps. The electric water meter analyzes the interrupt signals output through the four steps and accurately recognizes the rotation direction of an impeller at any position.</p> |
