A method for managing digital copyrights of terminals is provided to utilize easily DRM contents by managing contents lists according to the attributes of a DRM(Digital Rights Management) scheme and RO(Right Object). Copyrights contents selected by users are downloaded and the downloaded contents are stored(S10). It is determined whether or not the same contents as the copyrights contents are stored(S12). When the same contents as the copyrights contents are stored, a DRM scheme and RO to be applied to the contents are set according to a predetermined priority by checking the applied DRM scheme and RO(S16). The utilization of the contents is controlled using the determined DRM scheme and RO.
