A lighting apparatus for a refrigerator is provided to equally illuminate a storage space in the refrigerator by installing a light emitting diode at an inner case such that light of the light emitting diode is uniformly radiated over the storage space. A lighting apparatus for a refrigerator comprises a light emitting diode(28) installed at a side of a storage space of the refrigerator and a shelf through which light of the light emitting diode passes. The shelf is detachably installed in the storage space. The light emitting diode is turned on/off depending on opening/closing of the storage space. The light emitting diode is installed at a position the same as that of the shelf. The shelf includes a transparent plate(32), a frame(34), and a light transmitting part(36). |
