Disclosed herein are methods of treating tumors using a combination thera py, wherein a VEGF antagonist and a protein kinase inhibitor capable of inhi biting at least the PDGF receptor tyronise kinase, are administered for a ti me and in amount sufficient to treat or prevent a tumor in a subject.
