A separate cooling type refrigerator is provided to reduce power consumption by stopping operation of a condensation fan during cooling a refrigerator compartment. A separate cooling type refrigerator comprises a compressor, a condenser(440), a condensation fan, a three-way valve(500), a first evaporator(482), a second evaporator(484), a first fan(620), and a second fan(640). The three-way valve supplies refrigerant of the condenser into the first evaporator and the second evaporator. The first and second evaporators cool a refrigerator compartment(R) and a freezer compartment(F), respectively. The first and second fans circulate cool air of the first and second evaporators, respectively. Only when the freezer compartment is cooled, the condensation fan operates. |
