A display device includes a display panel, a driver printed circuit board, and a driver integrated circuit chip package(42). The driver integrated circuit chip package includes a flexible printed circuit film and an integrated circuit mounted on the flexible printed circuit film. The integrated circuit chip package electrically connects the driver printed circuit board to the display panel. The flexible printed circuit film has a driving signal wire(422) and an electrostatic discharge wire(423). The driving signal wire connects the display panel and the driver printed circuit board to the integrated circuit chip. The electrostatic discharge wire directly connects the driver printed circuit board to the display panel.
