摘要 A white light emitting device and a light source module for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight using the same are provided to implement high color reproduction characteristics by using a blue LED(Light Emitting Device) chip having a dominant frequency of a specific range, a red color fluorescent material, and a green color fluorescent material. A blue LED chip(103) has a dominant frequency of 430 to 455 nm. A red color fluorescent material(112) is arranged around the blue LED chip, and is excited by the blue LED chip to emit a red color light. A green color fluorescent material(114) is arranged around the blue LED chip, and is excited by the blue LED chip to emit a green color light. A color coordinate of the red color light emitted from the red color fluorescent material are set in a region surrounded by four vertexes of (0.5448,0.4544), (0.7079,0.2920), (0.6427,0.2905), and (0.4794,0.4633) on the basis of CIE 1931 color coordinates. A color coordinate of the green color light emitted from the green color fluorescent material are set in a region surrounded by four vertexes of (0.1270,0.8037), (0.4117,0.5861), (0.4197,0.5316), and (0.2555,0.5030) on the basis of the CIE 1931 color coordinates. The red color fluorescent material is represented by (Sr,Ba,Ca)AlSiN3:Eu, and the green color fluorescent material is expressed by (Sr,Ba,Ca)2SiO4:Eu.
