DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A display panel and a manufacturing method thereof is provided to adjust the number of bridge portions formed in each DFL which is composed of at least one bridge portion to increase/decrease a contact resistance value applied to the each DFL, thereby compensating resistance variation caused by a difference between the lengths of the DFLs. A display panel comprises a base substrate, signal lines, signal pads, and a DFL(Data Fan-out Line). A display area and a non-display area are determined on the base substrate. The signal lines cross each other on the display area to determine unit pixels. The signal pads are formed on the non-display area to receive a driving signal from the outside. The DFL is formed between the signal lines and the signal pads corresponding to the signal lines and includes DIEs(Data Island Elements) spaced from each other and at least one bridge portion(B1,B2,B3) which is formed in a different layer from the DIEs and connects the DIEs electrically.
