CAISSON WITH SHIELD CURTAIN AND METHOD OF PREVENTING GROUT LEAK USING THE CAISSON

A caisson with a shield curtain and a method for preventing the leakage of grout using the caisson with a shield curtain are provided to cope with eddies, not to be affected by the depth of installation, to have no necessity of additional equipment for installation such as a crane, etc., and to check the filling of grout easily. A caisson with a shield curtain includes many shield curtains(13) fixed by winding on the upper part of the edge of a lower plate(4) formed on the lower part of a caisson(1) in the shape of a roll, wherein one end of the shield curtain is fixed to the upper part of the edge of the lower plate by a bolt and a nut, and a weight support body such as a steel bar is fixed to the unfixed edge of the shield curtain. A method for preventing the leakage of grout using a caisson with a shield curtain comprises the steps of: installing a shield curtain to make one end fixed to a lower plate of a caisson, and rolling and fixing; placing the caisson over the seabed; releasing the other end of the shield curtain and fixing to the seabed; and filling up a hollow(5) formed between the lower plate of the caisson and the seabed with grout materials(3).
