An OLED device and a driving method thereof are provided to enhance the visibility by adjusting input image data corresponding to periphery conditions, such as the intensity of external lights. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device includes a pixel unit(100), scan and data drivers(200,300), an optic sensor(500), and a data converter(400). The pixel unit includes plural pixels connected with scan and data lines. The scan and data drivers supply scan and data signals to the scan and data lines, respectively. The optic sensor generates an optic detection signal corresponding to the intensity of external lights. The data converter stores input image data or variation data, which is varied from the input image data, corresponding to the optic detection signal. The data driver generates the data signals corresponding to the input image data and the variation data stored in the data converter.
