A display device is provided to support the loads of the display device, reduce a volume of a stand, facilitate the movement of the stand and enable a user to move a location of the main body conveniently. A lifting member(22) lifts together with a display main body(1). A support unit(23) guides the lifting motion of the lifting member. A base(5) supports a lower side of the support unit. A slider(51) moves after being placed on the base. A wire(25) connects the lifting member with the slider. A pulley(24) is installed in the support unit so as to change a prolongation direction of the wire by being wound with the wire. A spring(54) provides elastic force to the motion of the slider. A hinge assembly is provided to a connection unit of the support unit and the base. The hinge assembly comprises a stopper guide(32), at least two grooves(33,34) provided in the outer surface of the stopper guide, and a folding stopper(35) selectively engaged with the grooves.
