A digital television integrated with a PC having a built-in PVR function and a recording and reproducing method using the same are provided to reduce a cost for a storage unit by implementing a PVR function and a PC function by using only one storage unit and use PVR data, stored in a storage unit, even on a PC. In a PC(Personal Computer) circuit unit(300), a PVR(Personal Video Recorder) processor(370) is disposed. The PVR processor receives a broadcasting signal transmitted from a DTV(Digital Television) circuit unit(100), and converts the received broadcasting signal into data of a PVR format. The converted PVR data is stored in a storage unit(360) according to control of a PC controller(310). The DTV circuit unit includes a DTV controller(140) for transmitting a PVR recording and reproduction related command to the PC controller during PVR recording and reproduction.
