The heel is a replaceable one comprising a threaded pin for screwing into a threaded cap inside a heel piece. The upper part (a) of the pin is ribbed and intended for inserting into a metallic sleeve in the heel region of the shoe, where it is glued into place. The lower part (b) of the pin is threaded and separated from the upper part by a flange (c) for preventing the pin from being inserted too far into the sleeve. The heel piece comprises a cap with four protrusions and a rubber surround extending around the cap.
