摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# Tire running tread (I) comprises a rubber composition (II) having at least one diene elastomer, reinforcing filler and vulcanization system, where (II) comprises a xanthan gum powder of 10-40 parts by weight for 100 parts of the elastomer. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for preparing (II) comprising a first phase of mixing thermomechanical constituents of (II), except the vulcanization system, and incorporating the xanthan gum powder during the first phase of mixing; (2) a tire comprising (I); (3) a winter tire comprising (I); and (4) a tire, equipped for heavy load vehicles and cars, comprising (I). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# (I) is useful for tires, winter tires and tires equipped for heavy load vehicles (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# (II), comprising polysaccharide particles that are non-soluble in water at particular time (1 minute) and very low temperature (0[deg] C), improves the behavior of (I) in terms of sliding resistance and provides excellent wet grip and a high performance on snowy roads. #CMT#INORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The majority of the reinforcing filler includes carbon black and/or silica. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The proportion of the xanthan gum powder in (II) is 15-30 parts by weight for 100 parts of the elastomer and the particle size of the gum powder is 10-500 (preferably 50-300) mu m. Preferred Composition: In (II), the xanthan gum powder is used in blending with one or more polysaccharide powder and with a guar gum powder. Preferred Method: The method is carried out in two steps, the first step includes mixing all the constituents of (II), except the xanthan gum powder, and the second step includes incorporating the xanthan gum powder. The first step is carried out at 110-190[deg] C and the second step is carried out at 130-180[deg] C. The first phase of mixing is carried out at = 130[deg] C after cooling step that follows the first step. The second step of the first phase mixing is carried out at = 100[deg] C (preferably 60-100[deg] C). #CMT#POLYMERS : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The majority of the diene elastomer, more than 50 parts by weight of elastomer, is isoprene elastomer. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# Typical tire running tread composition comprised (parts by weight): peptized natural rubber (80); polybutadiene (20); carbon black N234 (53); paraffin (1); N-1,3-dimethyl butyl N-phenylparaphenylene diamine as antioxidant (3); stearic acid (2); zinc oxide (3); sulfur (1.1); N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazyl sulfonamide as accelerator (1.1); and xanthan gum powder with particle size of 106 mu m (20).
