An apparatus for testing clothes is provided to test moisturizing and insulation capability of the clothes and perform many tests at the same time by comprising a first and second rooms operating temperature and moisture separately, a UV application device and a saline water spraying device, and an opening portion at a middle wall between the first and second rooms for installing a sample of a fabric product. An apparatus for testing clothes comprises: a main body(10); a first room(20) which is installed at one side of the main body by a middle wall, is opened and closed by an insulation door having an open front-side observation window and constitutes an inner environment of the clothes; a second room which is installed at the other side of the main body by the middle wall, is opened and closed by the insulation door having the open front-side observation window and constitutes an outer environment of the clothes; an air conditioning chamber(50) where a heater(53), a cooling coil(54) and a moisturizing coil(55) necessary for maintaining temperature and humidity are installed at the center in sequence and an air circulating sirocco fan(52) is installed at the upper portion; a mechanical chamber(60) which is installed at the rear side of the air conditioning chamber, connected with a pipe communicated with the air conditioning chamber to supply steam to the first and second rooms and includes a moisturizing tank(61) equipped with a moisturizing heater(62); and a controlling portion electrically connected to the various devices and setting operation conditions of the first and second rooms. The apparatus further comprises a shelf(23) for fixing a test sample at the lower portion of the first and second rooms and a dry-bulb thermo-sensor(24) and a wet-bulb thermo-sensor(25) installed at one side upper portion of the first room. Further, a pair glass is installed at a ceiling of the first room and a few infrared rays lamps are installed over the pair glass.
