A hanger assembly for sign boards is provided to facilitate installation at a post regardless of diameter of the post by interconnecting connection bands according to the diameter of the post. A hanger assembly for sign boards comprises a clamp(102) and a hanger bar(104). The clamp is installed at a post on a road. The hanger bar is fixed to the clamp and hangs a sign board. The clamp includes connection bands(105), a hanger joint(106), and a fastening part. The connection bands are assembled to one another in corresponding to diameter of the post. The hanger joint is installed between the connection bands to support the hanger bar. The fastening member tightens the clamp to the post. A curtain(111) is formed at the connection band to cover the connection band, the hanger joint, and the fastening member. Hooks(112) are installed at the connection band, the hanger joint, and the fastening member. Clip rings(113) are installed to interconnect the hooks of the connection band, the hanger joint, and the fastening member.
