<p>The fastener (15) is in the form of a body (18) with two inner cavities separated by a central rib (30), and with each cavity containing a spring-loaded and toothed cam. The central rib also has toothed surfaces facing the cams, and laces (10) passed through the fastener on either side of the central rib can be pulled in one direction for tightening, but are prevented from moving in the opposite direction as they are gripped between the central rib and the cams. The laces can only be released by pulling them out of the lock through the front passages on either side of the central rib.</p> |
