<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device equipped with a floating point calculation function, designed to maintain correlations between parameters obtained through a floating point calculation when non-numeric figures appears as a result of such a calculation, thereby preventing occurrence of non-numeric figure-based control defects without increasing processing load. <P>SOLUTION: A storage range 31 of RAM 15 designed to store floating point-type data calculated through a floating point calculation processor is divided into a plurality of storage units 32A, while blocks composing groups of several continuous storage units 32A (suction air control block 33A, jetting control block 33B, and the like) are allocated thereto in the unit of control. Here, it is determined whether or not a non-numeric figure 32B exists among the storage unit 32A in the unit of a block, whenever each control is completed. If it is concluded that there is such a non-numeric figure 32B, the entire range from the initial address of the block to its end address is initialized in package. As a result, it is possible to prevent control defects from occurring during the generation of the non-numeric figure 32B, while maintaining correlations between parameters and lightening processing load during initialization of RAM 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
