<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel solar cell and a novel photoelectric conversion device. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell is composed by forming an anode electrode 151 and a cathode electrode 152 with a semiconductor layer 153 in-between and contacting with the semiconductor layer 153 in the shape of a vortex, and forming the whole in the shape of a plate. The solar cell has the shape of a circle, a triangle, or a hexagon. The anode electrode 151 and the cathode electrode 152 are typically in the shape of a strip or a ribbon. The photoelectric conversion device is composed of a photoelectric conversion layer in a vortex shape or a concentric shape, and formed in the shape of a plate as a whole, light incident from a direction intersecting the plate. In the photoelectric conversion device, a first electrode and a second electrode are formed in a vortex shape or a concentric shape with a photoelectric conversion layer in-between and contacting with the photoelectric conversion layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
