LIGHT GUIDE PLATE FOR BACKLIGHT, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently manufacture a light guide plate 2 for a backlight for coping with enlargement of a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: On the resin molded light guide plate for the backlight of the liquid crystal display having a pattern on the surface, the light guide plate is formed by a single stamper 7 having the pattern for projecting on the surface of the liquid crystal display. The stamper 7 planarly arranges and connects a replica 5 divided into prescribed regions, and forms to transfer a replica composite plate 6 composing the region of the light guide plate.
