PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cleaning device and a cleaning method for a blind, capable of uniformly finishing cleaning without damaging the blind, by automatically easily and quickly performing cleaning work of the blind. SOLUTION: This automatic cleaning device for the blind is provided for cleaning the blind 1 removed from a window, and has a blind installing part 2 suspending and holding the upper edge 1a of the blind 1 by forming the blind 1 in a vertical surface shape, a jetting device 5 having a lifting means 3 lifting the blind installing part 2 while holding the blind installing part 2 and capable of jetting a first cleaning liquid 4 to the blind 1, and a liquid tank part 7 storing a second cleaning liquid 6 for soaking the blind 1 in a stacking state.
