PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefabricated concrete pile improving workability by eliminating a need for filling concrete in a pile head while securing the bearing force of the joint part with a footing by the pile head. SOLUTION: The existing concrete pile 10 has a substantially cylindrical hollow part over the whole length from a pile head to a pile end. A diameter of the hollow part 14 near the pile head part 12 is formed to be smaller than that of the hollow part 13 of the part 11 besides the pile head part. In this structure, as the pile head part 12 is made to be thicker than the part 11 besides the pile head, shear capacity at the pile head is improved and shear failure at a pile head joint part can be prevented. Since the area of the pile head transferring a compression force to the footing is increased, bearing fracture is hardly caused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
