PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment (2), for instance, a swimming suit, other sportswear or an exercise wear. SOLUTION: This garment is such that a plurality of panels (10-22 and 30-44) are stuck to the external surface of a base layer (4) which covers at least the trunk and is made of a stretchable fabric with elasticity, and (in a case of a swimming suit), the improvement of capacity is provided to swimming match athletes through decrease of skin friction drag, decrease of form drag and/or improvement of stability in water. Another general suggestion is to provide a swimming suit which has a style of clothing separated by each stroke, and is helpful to support to accurately perform strokes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
