PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for imparting heat resistance and insulation properties to a magnetic metal material, which does not need a large scale of facility, but can uniformly deposit a heat-resistant insulative oxide on the surface of the magnetic metal material with a few steps in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The treatment method for imparting heat resistance and insulation properties to the magnetic metal material by making a powder of alumina uniformly deposit on the magnetic metal material through a medium of an air stream comprises the steps of: forming the magnetic metal material into a shape of a coiled ribbon 10; mounting the coiled ribbon 10 on a vibratable and rotatable base 21; inserting a rotation core bar 24 for rewinding the coiled ribbon 10 into an internal diameter of the coiled ribbon 10; installing one end of the rotation core bar 24 on the base 21 so as to be rotatable; subsequently, fixing one end 10A which forms the internal diameter of the coiled ribbon 10 and has started to be wound, on the outer periphery of the rotation core bar 24; starting to rewind the coiled ribbon 10, while producing the air stream by vibrating and rotating the base 21; and at the same time, scattering the powder (B) of alumina from the upper part of the coiled ribbon 10 to make the powder uniformly deposit on the coiled ribbon 10.
