PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling pot easily produced and allowing plants to root. SOLUTION: The raising seedling pot is such that string-state bodies 2 are laminated in layers, and preferably has recessed parts 4a for putting seedlings. The string-state bodies 2 are preferably made of string-state resin. The string-state resin preferably comprises biodegradable one. The method for producing a raising seedling pot comprises laminating the string-state resin melted and extruded out of an extruder in a metal mold while moving the metal mold in a horizontal direction followed by cooling and solidifying the resin.
