A cover bottom and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module having the cover bottom are provided to change the side of the cover bottom to prevent a wire for electrically connecting an inverter to lamps from being damaged when a backlight unit is assembled or moved. An LCD includes a plurality of fluorescent lamps(124), a support side for fixing both ends of each of the lamps, a plurality of optical sheets(126) which are arranged on the lamps, diffuse light emitted from the lamps and enhance the luminance of light and a viewing angle, and a backlight unit having a reflecting sheet(122) located under the lamps to reflect downward light. The LCD further includes a cover bottom(150) in which the reflecting sheet is mounted, an inverter(170) formed on the backside of the cover bottom, and an LCD panel located on the backlight unit. The inverter applies an electric signal through a wire(139) connected to the lamps. |
