A window air conditioning unit is provided with an outlet nozzle which sits in abutting relationship with an outlet area on a front grill for the window air conditioning unit. A seal is provided on one of the outlet nozzle and front grill to prevent leakage along an interface between the two. The seal prevents air leaking laterally along this interface, which can cause efficiency losses, and a problem known as "sweating" at other areas of the housing which collect water when cooled by the leakage air
