<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide an apparatus for wet-ash addition to cement which needs no drying cost in the feeding of wet ash to a cement mill and does not necessitate a new space for installation around the mill inlet. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The apparatus for adding wet ash to cement comprises a dehydrator for dehydrating wet ash, a mixer (7) for mixing the wet ash dehydrated by the dehydrator with one of pulverized materials to be mixed with clinker, and a feeder (11) for feeding the mixture obtained by mixing in the mixer, i.e., a mixture of the wet ash and one of pulverized materials to be mixed with clinker, to a cement mill (14). Wet ash is dehydrated and then mixed in a given amount with a pulverized material to be added for mixing to the mill. The resultant mixture of the wet ash and the pulverized material is added to the mill. The wet ash after dehydration has a water content of 20 mass% or lower, preferably 15 mass% or lower. The dehydrator may be a centrifugal separator, etc., while the mixer may be a pug mill, etc. Thus, modified ash (fly ash slurry) from a fly-ash decarburizer can be effectively utilized by adding it as wet ash to a cement mill.</p> |
