A head slider is provided to prevent damage to a head slider resulting from liquid collision by discharging lubricant to the rear edge continuously not to cause a stagnation point. A floated surface(10a) of a head slider has first and second recessed parts. The depth of a lower surface(11a) of the second recessed part is smaller than that of a lower surface(3a) of the first recessed part. The lower surface of the second recessed part is formed to surround side pads(6) and a center pad(4).
