An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to discharge a data signal remained in a pixel during power-off of the LCD, thereby preventing display of an abnormal image. An LC panel(100) comprises plural gate lines, plural data lines, and plural TFTs(Thin Film Transistors) connected with the plural gate lines and data lines. A timing controller(120) receives a control signal and a data signal from an external system, and controls gate and data drivers according to the control signal. The timing controller supplies the data signal to the data driver by alternating an order in a frame unit. A discharging circuit is connected with the timing controller and the gate driver, and turns on the plural TFTs for a predetermined time during power-off. A power unit supplies driving power of the gate driver, the data driver, the discharging circuit, the timing controller and the LC panel.
