<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device capable of surely removing remaining gas in each cell by purging every cell, and enhancing performance of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell device has a fuel cell stack formed by stacking a plurality of unit cells 104 of the fuel cell and a purging mechanism purging gas in the unit cells. The purging mechanism is composed of a gas passage change-over mechanism 106 equipped with an exhausting passage change-over valve installed on the gas exhaust side of the unit cell every unit cell of the fuel cell, and a valve operation means operating so as to open the valve every exhausting passage change-over valve, and purge is performed every unit cell of the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
