<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection material capable of easily covering a flat harness, preventing the flat harness from being exposed or falling from the protection material, and protecting the periphery of the flat harness by a minimum size. <P>SOLUTION: The protection material is formed of a strip-shaped plastic material having flexibility. At two positions in a middle part in a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the material, first/second hinges exist and extend in series in the longitudinal direction. The material is divided into three in the width direction by the first/second hinges to form a first folding part, a center placement part, and a second folding part.
