PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary data transmission device capable of identifying and transmitting the state of a circuit breaker and electrical faults. SOLUTION: The auxiliary device 1 for remote data transmission has processing means 5 comprising a first input 33 for receiving a first data item of a state O, C of the circuit breaker, and at least one command output 7, 8 for commanding transmission of data. The processing means 5 comprises a second input 6 for receiving at least one second data item representative of an electrical fault or of an auxiliary command, identification means 34 for identifying the type SD, SDT, SDV of electrical fault, and initialization means 34 of the at least one command output.
