PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing switch in which the pressing switch equipped with a snap-in engagement part can be downsized and in which by securing smooth vertical movement of a key top and superior operability can be maintained. SOLUTION: In the pressing switch 1 equipped with a mounting member 50, a switch constituted of a switch pattern 38 and a reverse plate 20 arranged on the mounting member 50, the key top 10 to press this switch, and the snap-in engaging part comprised of engaging pieces 14, 14 which are installed at the key top 10 and have elasticity, and engaged parts 51-1, 51-2 in which the engaging pieces 14, 14 installed at the mounting member 50 are snap-in engaged, one engaged part 51-2 of the snap-in engaging parts is formed as a notched part obtained by notching the end side 53 of the mounting member 50, and a guide part 61 to guide the vertical movement of the key top 10 is installed between the mounting member 50 and the key top 10.
