PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device designed to heat by an endless belt rotatably extended by a plurality of support rollers at least one of which incorporates a heating source, wherein the fixing device is designed so as to prevent excessive temperature rise of a heat belt. SOLUTION: A heat transfer acceleration material 100 for accelerating heat transfer between each support roller 81, 82 and the endless belt 83 is disposed on the contact faces of each support roller 81, 82 and the endless belt 83.
