PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration and noise control method capable of achieving necessary and sufficient reduction effect of vibration and noise by reducing generated vibration and noise to some extent in view of an environment where equipment, which generates the vibration and noise, is placed and reducing cost of devices such as an actuator and power amplifier. SOLUTION: The active vibration and noise control method detects the vibration and noise generated from the equipment, and generates an antiphase signal to the detected vibration and noise from a signal generating means to reduce the vibration and noise.
