PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform color conversion matching characteristics of a user form that a user intends to output an image on. SOLUTION: A selector 41 selects a standard form with characteristics close to those of the user form that the user intends to use to output the image out of a plurality of previously set standard forms. A conversion table generator 42 generates a conversion table 38 for converting CMYK image data for the standard form into CMYK image data for the user form based upon a printer profile 35Ncorresponding to the standard form selected by the selector 41 and a printer profile generated corresponding to the user form. A color conversion table composing unit 43 composes a color conversion table 39 for converting RGB image data into the CMYK image data for the user form based upon the color conversion table 34Ncorresponding to the standard form selected by the selector 41 and the conversion table 38.
