PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire having suppressed temperature dependency of hardness of the rubber composition to improve the frictional force on ice. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a diene rubber having a glass transition temperature of≤-50°C with (A) 3-30 pts.wt. of a tall oil fatty acid ester and (B) 1-15 pts.wt. of at least one kind of component selected from among a thermally expandable microcapsule, a thermally expandable graphite and a resin containing a foaming agent.
