PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-in-oil emulsion type skin care preparation which has an improved antiseptic force. SOLUTION: This water-in-oil emulsion type skin care preparation is characterized by containing (1) an organic modified clay mineral and (2) silver or a silver-supported ceramic. The organic modified clay mineral is preferably dimethyldistearylammonium chloride-modified hectorite. The silver or the silver-supported ceramic is preferably colloidal silver, silver-supported zeolite, or silver-supported hydroxyapatite.
