PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying mechanism and a discharging device for PTP sheets capable of preventing any disturbance of a row of the PTP sheets 18 in a conveying line from occurring. SOLUTION: In the conveying mechanism 12 constituting the discharging device, when the PTP sheet 18 is transferred from a first conveying unit 56a to a second conveying unit 56b, a first pushing means 60a is controlled so that the pushing speed V1 on the upstream side is lower than the pushing speed V2 on the downstream side. In other words, the first pushing means 60a is controlled so that the pushing speed V1 on the delivering side of the PTP sheet 18 is lower than the pushing speed V2 on the receiving side. Therefore, when the PTP sheet 18 is transferred from the first conveying unit 56a to the second conveying unit 56b, the PTP sheet 18 is immediately detached from the first conveying unit 56a, and the row of the PTP sheets 18 is not disturbed by the subsequent movement of the first conveying part 56a. Further, the pushing speed V2 on the downstream side need not be increased, and the fitting pitch of the second pushing means 66b constituting a second pushing means 60b need not be increased to prevent the line length on the downstream side from being increased in an undesirable manner.
