PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air-conditioner capable of enhancing the air-conditioning efficiency thereof and the comfortableness of an occupant seated in a rear seat by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The vehicular air-conditioner comprises a face duct 40 which is provided in an instrument panel 10 arranged in a forward part in a cabin to constitute an air supply passage with air-conditioned air supplied in the cabin passing through, and branched into a vent outlet side duct 42 and an upper vent outlet side duct 41 toward the downstream side of the flow of the air-conditioned air, vent outlets 11, 12 formed at the instrument panel 10 to supply the air-conditioned air passing through the vent outlet side duct 42 toward a front seat in the cabin, upper vent outlets 13, 14 provided in the instrument panel 10 to supply the air-conditioned air passing through the upper vent outlet side duct 41 toward the rear seat side in the cabin, a rear seat occupant detection means for detecting the on-board state of the occupant seated in the rear seat, and an air volume adjusting means for adjusting the supply of the air-conditioned air supplied from the upper vent outlets 13, 14 according to an increase/decrease in the number of the occupants in the rear seat.
